LEARN MORE

LAYERED AMBER DRL, CREATE A MORE DISTINCTIVE FRONT-END PRESENCE

The stepped amber DRL forms a layered lighting effect around the lens, giving Orion a recognizable appearance both day and night while improving vehicle visibility to other road users.

FRESNEL LENS OPTICS, DIRECT MORE LIGHT WHERE IT MATTERS

The Fresnel lens helps control and concentrate the light output, improving optical efficiency and producing a cleaner, more focused beam for better forward visibility.

COMPACT POD HOUSING, FIT MORE MOUNTING POSITIONS

The compact housing makes Orion easier to install on bumpers, motorcycles, utility vehicles and other space-limited locations without adding unnecessary bulk.

TOP MOUNTING POINTS, SUPPORT MORE INSTALLATION SETUPS

Additional mounting points on the top of the housing allow Orion to be installed in suspended or inverted positions, giving users more flexibility across different vehicles and brackets.

FOCUSED SPOT BEAM, EXTEND VISIBILITY BEYOND THE HEADLIGHTS

The concentrated spot beam projects light farther ahead, helping drivers identify road edges, obstacles and changes in terrain earlier during night driving.

ORION2 AND ORION4 CONFIGURATIONS, MATCH DIFFERENT SPACE AND OUTPUT NEEDS

An additional threaded mounting point is integrated into the rear housing, allowing users to create multi-point mounting setups for extra stability in demanding conditions. This becomes especially useful on roof racks, rally builds, and long-travel off-road vehicles where vibration control matters.

Note: The quick-release bracket shown in the picture is not included in the kits we sell.

ADC12 DIE-CAST ALUMINUM HOUSING WITH GLOSS BLACK FINISH, DELIVERS DURABLE PROTECTION WITH A PREMIUM APPEARANCE

Orion features an ADC12 die-cast aluminum housing with a gloss black surface finish, combining a refined appearance with excellent durability for outdoor applications. The solid aluminum construction helps improve heat management during extended operation, while the robust housing is built to withstand vibration, impacts and demanding off-road conditions.

IP68/IP69K FULLY SEALED STRUCTURE, PERFORMS RELIABLY IN RAIN, MUD, DUST AND EXTREME CONDITIONS

Every Orion light is built with an IP68/IP69K sealed structure to resist water and dust intrusion. Whether facing heavy rain, muddy trails, high-pressure washing or dusty environments, Orion maintains stable performance for long-term outdoor adventures.

The high-transparency PC lens is engineered for outdoor durability, helping maintain optical clarity and reliable light output after extended exposure to harsh environments.

Questions? Answers.

Orion is designed for versatile installation across various vehicles, including 4x4s, trucks, motorcycles, ATVs and other off-road platforms. With compact housing and flexible mounting options, it fits well in different mounting locations where additional lighting is needed.

The main difference is the lighting output and size. Orion2 provides a compact solution for space-limited installations, while Orion4 delivers higher output with a larger optical area for users who need stronger forward illumination.

Yes. Orion features a layered amber DRL with a multi-depth lighting effect, creating a distinctive front-end appearance while improving vehicle visibility during daytime and low-light conditions.

As a general guide, we recommend 7–9" pods near the front bumper for maximum forward illumination. Mounting larger lights lower on the vehicle can also help reduce unwanted glare.

3–5" pods work well on A-pillars, either aimed forward for more balanced coverage or angled outward to illuminate the sides of the trail and ditches.

Smaller flood lights, typically 3" and below, are ideal for side lighting around camp, rock lights, or rear-facing backup and work lights.

The best setup ultimately depends on your vehicle, mounting position, and how you use it.

In many cases, yes.

On a conventional multi-function light, each function is typically controlled by a separate positive wire. For example, a 4-pin light with a main beam, amber DRL, and white DRL may use three pins for those individual functions and one pin for ground. This can allow each function to be connected to a separate channel on a compatible switch panel.

However, some of our more advanced lights, such as the Hornet Series, use an integrated control module to manage multiple functions. Bypassing the supplied wiring harness and connecting these lights directly to a switch panel may cause certain functions to operate incorrectly.

For these products, we recommend using the supplied control system. If you still want an additional master switch, you may be able to control the main power supply through your switch panel instead.

If you're unsure whether a specific HIMA light can be connected directly to your switch panel, contact us before installation and we'll help you check.

For most installations—such as bumpers, roof racks, and existing mounting points—you usually won't need to make major modifications. The light can typically be installed using a secure mounting point on your vehicle together with the supplied bracket.

Some locations may benefit from a vehicle-specific mount. For example, if you're installing lights on the A-pillar of a Jeep Wrangler, we recommend using a dedicated A-pillar bracket for a cleaner and more secure installation.

Wiring requirements depend on your vehicle and where you mount the light. If the switch wiring needs to pass through the firewall, some vehicles may require a small opening to be made in an existing rubber firewall grommet.

If you're not sure about your installation, send us your vehicle model and planned mounting position and we'll be happy to help.

Yes. HIMA lights are designed for demanding outdoor environments and are tested to meet IP68/IP69K dust- and water-resistance standards.

They are suitable for use in rain, snow, mud, dust, and other typical off-road conditions.

If your light suffers water or dust ingress due to a manufacturing defect, please contact us and our support team will assist you.

The easiest way is to compare the real-world beam shots on each product page. They show how each light actually distributes light on the road or trail.

If you prefer to compare specifications, look at the 1 Lux @ Distance figure. A greater distance generally indicates stronger long-range performance.

For wider illumination, pay more attention to the beam pattern and horizontal coverage shown in our beam shots rather than distance alone.

Yes. We offer many replacement parts and accessories separately, including covers, mounting hardware, and selected installation components.

If you can't find the part you need on our website, contact us and we'll help you check availability.
